Mrs. Lianne Bacallao

Elementary Principal

Mrs. Lianne Bacallao holds a master's degree in industrial and organizational psychology and brings 14 years of experience in education to Dade Christian School. She is excited to lead a program so deeply rooted in faith, excellence, and the love of God's children. The theme for the year, Philippians 3:14 - "I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus," will guide the ministry's vision as it works together to develop Christ-like character, strong academic foundations, and servant hearts in every student. Her focus this school year is to offer an engaging and nurturing learning environment, intentional spiritual growth, strengthened parent partnerships, and exciting opportunities for our students to shine in academics, athletics, and service. DCS will press on with unity, purpose, and passion - partnering as educators and families to pursue God's best for DCS.

Mrs. Lorna Grant-Allen brings over 20 years of experience to the Dade Christian School Secondary Department. She is an alumna of New York University and has served as teacher, lead teacher, and teacher supervisor during her tenure at DCS. Mrs. Allen is excited to begin this new school year with passion, purpose, and dedication. Throughout her years at DCS, Mrs. Allen has been honored to serve her students, families, and fellow colleagues in a way that exemplifies the character of Christ, and will continue to do so with integrity, truth, and love. Reflecting on this year's theme, "Press on toward the goal," Philippians 3:14, she recognizes the importance of commitment and partnerships. As the body of Christ, it is essential to work cohesively to empower others in the faith, and to encourage non-believers to recognize the transformative power of Jesus Christ. Through collaborative efforts, she believes students can be guided toward excellence and the fulfillment of their God-given purposes.

This is her second year in the ESE department and her ninth year serving in administrative and support roles at DCS and NTBC.
