How do I enroll my student in your school? First, call for interview and testing. The Admissions Office phone number is 305.827.8767.
If my student does not pass the entrance exam--then what? Depending on scores, tutoring may be recommended, required, or student may need to reapply.
How much is tuition and how are payments made? Costs range from $6,000 to $9,275 annually. Payments may be monthly, semesterly or annually. Download the tuition rates, a PDF document, for complete information on all tuition fees.
What additional fees will occur such as uniforms and lunch? Parents purchase uniforms directly from Sunshine Uniforms, please visit www.sunshineuniforms.com for store locations. Cost depends on selection.
Lunch begins at $2.50 per day. A full-service cafeteria is available offering a wide range of choices.

My child is in a gifted program. Will DCS challenge him/her academically? Our curriculum school-wide is geared to challenge all students. A gifted program in elementary for grades 3-6 is offered after school. In the secondary, we have accelerated schedules, honors classes, and Advanced Placement courses for the gifted students.
Does your curriculum include enrichment classes? Enrichment classes include Spanish, Computers, Art, Music (Band & Choir) for all grade levels.
What is the student to teacher ratio? In pre-school, the ratio is one teacher and assistant to thirteen students. In elementary, the ratio is one teacher and assistant to 23 students. Our class average in the junior and senior high is 17.
What is the youngest age group for school? Preschool begins with classes for three-year-old students. They must be three by September 1st to qualify.
