Mr. Harv Hammock came to work at Dade Christian in 1980 after playing professional baseball for the Philadelphia Phillies Organization. He began working in the school as the Elementary Athletic Director and Head Coach of the Baseball Team. Harv has also been a faithful member of New Testament Baptist Church for over 30 years, working in summer camps, serving as Awana Commander for nine years , and leading the Jr. High Youth Department for four years. His wife, Connie, and son Jason, are both alumni of DCS.
Harv has experienced Dade Christian as a student, an employee and a parent. When asked in 2003, to accept the role of Athletic Director, his love and commitment for DCS, combined with a passion for sports, kids, and coaching made his decision easy. He is currently serving as DCS Athletic Director and has been doing so since the fall of 2003.
